Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards
- Optimize system performance and reliability through continuous monitoring and improvement
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Architect CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with industry best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Node.js
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and database design
- Proven ability to lead projects from conception to production deployment
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
