Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for high-availability and performance
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using GitLab and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or similar languages
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and data consistency patterns
- Proficiency with testing frameworks and TDD methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with remote-first collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Miro)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
