Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go/Python for high-transaction payment processing systems
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Kubernetes and Jenkins, reducing deployment time by 40%
- Mentor 3-4 engineers through code reviews and architecture planning sessions
- Develop AWS-native solutions with Terraform, ensuring 99.95% system uptime
- Contribute to open-source projects and present quarterly tech talks to the engineering org
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct security audits and implement zero-trust architecture principles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development with Go or Python
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of owning full lifecycle development for SaaS platforms
- Strong background in financial systems PCI-DSS compliance and security protocols
- Experience mentoring engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating contributions to production-level systems
