Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust, scalable software solutions using modern technologies.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements and drive product innovation.
- Design and optimize database schemas and APIs for high throughput and low latency.
- Maintain and improve existing legacy systems while integrating new features.
- Participate in the full CI/CD pipeline, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement proactive performance optimizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack or backend engineering.
- Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Detroit, MI (Relocation assistance provided).
