Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures for web and mobile applications.
- Full-Stack Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in modern languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define features and deliverables.
- Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and implement optimizations to improve speed and scalability.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Columbus, Ohio, or be open to relocation assistance.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
