Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using industry-standard languages and frameworks.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while conducting rigorous code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
- Problem Solving: Identify, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and QA—to define requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Optimization: Continuously improve application performance, security, and user experience through refactoring and technical innovation.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python, Java, or JavaScript. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and databases (SQL/NoSQL) is required.
- Tools: Proficiency in Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to San Antonio, TX with full assistance provided.
