Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code using modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Design and implement scalable architectures that ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define product features and user stories.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues and production bugs efficiently.
- Optimize application performance and refactor legacy code to improve maintainability.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster team growth.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and modern web frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude towards cross-functional teams.
