Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Python, and AWS
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging DevOps practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies and help improve team processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Proficiency in at least one JVM language (Java/Scala/Kotlin) and one scripting language
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and drive architectural decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for clean, maintainable code
- Open to relocation with flexibility for remote work during onboarding
