Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP and containerization technologies
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for high-traffic transactional systems
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for weekly deployment cycles
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent new innovations
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in at least one JVM language (Java/Kotlin) and one scripting language (Python/Go)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Ability to lead technical projects with minimal supervision
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
