Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed systems using Go/Python on AWS/GCP
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Jenkins and ArgoCD
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and technical design sessions
- Reduce system latency by 40% via database query optimization
- Drive security initiatives including OAuth2 and JWT implementation
- Collaborate with product teams to define API contracts using GraphQL
- Present technical roadmaps to CTO quarterly
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 500K+ developers
Qualifications
- 5+ years backend development experience with Go/Python
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and distributed tracing
- Proven track record of shipping high-availability systems
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of gRPC and REST API design
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks (Optimizely, LaunchDarkly)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architecture projects
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
