Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software systems using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to define features and ensure technical feasibility.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, write unit tests, and perform debugging to ensure code quality and robustness.
- Optimize application performance, reduce latency, and ensure 99.9% uptime for our clients.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical culture and best practices of the engineering department.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to obtain US work authorization and willingness to relocate to Illinois or Minneapolis as needed.
