Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications using Java and Python
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in Agile/Scrum environment
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Docker
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Optimize system performance and security protocols
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and DevOps
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Experience with federal compliance standards (NIST, FedRAMP)
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
