Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale, distributed software systems using modern programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to define feature requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and drive innovation within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
