Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code excellence.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security in collaboration with the product team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor other part-time engineers on architectural patterns and coding standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective bug fixes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is required.
- Demonstrated experience with RESTful APIs and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
- Ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity (approx. 20-25 hours per week).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
