Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, code, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Night Operations: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews and write unit tests to maintain high standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and QA teams to define features and resolve technical blockers.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure our applications remain compliant with industry standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering (Full Stack or Backend preferred).
- Language Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C# (other languages accepted).
- Technical Stack: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work a Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM EST).
- Remote Work: Proven experience working remotely or a willingness to adapt to a fully remote environment.
- Relocation: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh, NC area.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
