Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on night shift team
- Optimize system performance for 24/7 global operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment cycles
- Resolve production issues during night shift coverage
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with night shift exposure
- Expertise in Python, Java, or Go with cloud-native deployment
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Ability to work autonomously during night shift hours (EST)
- Experience with distributed systems and scalability patterns
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
