Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Night Shift Operations: Monitor system performance and handle critical bug fixes and maintenance tasks during off-peak hours to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Code Review: Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure best practices, security standards, and performance optimization.
- Debugging: Identify, isolate, and resolve complex software defects and technical issues efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, DevOps) to define requirements and deliver features on time.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and system architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Programming: Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Shift Work: Demonstrated ability and willingness to work the night shift (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM or similar).
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Albuquerque, NM.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust code.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
