Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and APIs to support 24/7 production environments.
- Monitor system performance during night shifts, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement immediate resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to refine software requirements and deliver high-quality code.
- Conduct code reviews and perform rigorous testing to ensure security, reliability, and scalability of our infrastructure.
- Document technical architecture and system configurations to facilitate knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within existing workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend or full-stack technologies.
- Proven experience working in night shift or rotating shift environments.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
