Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for our equity options trading platform.
- Debug complex issues and optimize algorithmic trading logic for high performance.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate market data into actionable code.
- Ensure system security, scalability, and 99.99% uptime during trading hours.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers within the night shift cohort.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including architecture and deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Java.
- Deep understanding of equity options and financial derivatives.
- Experience with low-latency systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Ability to work independently during the night shift and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
