Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our 24/7 global platform.
- Debug complex production issues and implement long-term fixes with zero downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the day shift to ensure seamless handoffs and integration.
- Optimize database performance and application code for speed, security, and efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold high engineering standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems during night operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, Go, or C++.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively during night shifts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
