Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Java/Python and AWS
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 deployment reliability
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Resolve complex production incidents during shift hours
- Design secure RESTful APIs with OAuth 2.0 integration
- Contribute to our Kubernetes-based microservices architecture
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in at least one JVM language (Java/Scala/Kotlin)
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems principles
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
