Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 production environments
- Collaborate with global teams via Slack/Jira during night shift hours
- Implement AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Perform root cause analysis and incident response for production issues
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Contribute to architectural decisions for high-availability systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Java, Python, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CST)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with production debugging experience
