Responsibilities
- Monitor system logs and application performance during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Deploy code patches, hotfixes, and software updates safely during the night window.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical software defects and technical issues independently.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team via async communication tools to hand off tickets and status updates.
- Conduct routine database maintenance and performance tuning.
- Document technical processes and incident reports for the QA team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
- Experience working in a shift-based or 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
