Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance microservices using Go and Python
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for 99.99% uptime on critical financial APIs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Terraform and Jenkins
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and tech workshops
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and security audits
- Debug complex production issues with distributed tracing tools
- Drive Kubernetes deployments on EKS with Helm charts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, EKS, S3)
- Strong foundation in distributed systems and database optimization
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools
- Experience with financial compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOX)
- Proven ability to lead technical projects in agile environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
