Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go/Kubernetes for 24/7 global systems
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for night shift deployments
- Debug production issues during off-peak hours with real-time monitoring tools
- Mentor junior engineers through virtual standups and async documentation
- Design disaster recovery protocols for critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with APAC/EU teams during overlapping business hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in at least two: Go, Python, or Java with async programming
- Proven track record of on-call rotation experience
- CI/CD mastery (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD)
- Strong written communication skills for async collaboration
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating production-grade system designs
