Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on night shift team
- Resolve complex production issues during overnight on-call rotations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-native solutions
- Optimize system performance and implement security best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with night shift or rotational shift exposure
- Expertise in Java, Python, and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS) and cloud-native patterns
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night hours
