What You’ll Do:
You will lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices, mentor junior developers, and drive technical excellence across the engineering department.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, scalable software solutions using Python and Go.
- Lead code reviews and establish coding standards to ensure maintainability and security.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Optimize database queries and system performance to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate them into our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
