Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Python on AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and technical architecture decisions
- Optimize system performance and database queries
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and workshops
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Conduct A/B testing and data-driven feature iterations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Expertise in at least one JVM language (Java/Kotlin)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
