Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java/Python
- Lead architectural decisions for cloud-native AWS deployments
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Optimize system performance and database queries
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and security best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
