Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Conduct performance tuning and security vulnerability assessments
- Drive agile development methodologies within cross-functional squads
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Pytest)
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
