Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment to deliver features on time.
- Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize database queries, application logic, and API responses.
- Mentorship: Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Infrastructure: Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a commercial environment.
- Languages: Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Frameworks: Solid experience with React or Node.js (or equivalent frameworks).
- Database: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
