Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go/Kubernetes serving 10M+ daily API calls
- Lead migration of legacy Java systems to cloud-native architecture on AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and tech workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 500+ financial institutions
- Optimize database performance for 99.99% SLA compliance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines reducing deployment time by 40%
- Conduct security audits for PCI-DSS and GDPR compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go or Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of financial protocols (FIX, ISO 20022)
- Experience with high-throughput transaction processing systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
- Certification in Kubernetes or cloud architecture preferred
