Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services for our Equity Options trading platform.
- Implement low-latency algorithms and data pipelines to process real-time market data.
- Ensure system reliability and uptime during critical weekend trading sessions.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex financial models into efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices and security protocols.
- Debug complex issues in distributed systems and optimize database performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in FinTech, Trading, or High-Frequency Computing.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Deep understanding of Equity Options markets and derivative pricing concepts is a major plus.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during the weekend shift.
