Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency pricing engines for complex equity options derivatives.
- Design real-time risk management systems to monitor exposure and volatility in live market conditions.
- Optimize database queries and message bus architectures to handle high-throughput trade data.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts to translate mathematical models into executable code.
- Ensure system resilience, scalability, and security across all trading platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural planning sessions to drive engineering excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on low-latency systems or high-frequency trading.
- Strong proficiency in C++ or Java, with experience in memory management and multithreading.
- Experience with financial markets, specifically options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, shell scripting, and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
