We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our elite engineering team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this position, you will bridge the gap between complex quantitative research and production-grade software. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and low-latency systems that handle millions of data points per second, ensuring our clients receive the best execution and pricing in the market.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-frequency trading systems and low-latency APIs specifically for Equity Options data streams.
- Implement and maintain complex risk management engines to ensure compliance and capital efficiency.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate mathematical models into efficient software code.
- Perform rigorous code reviews and unit testing to ensure system stability and security.
- Debug and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in distributed trading environments.
- Architect fault-tolerant systems capable of operating continuously with 99.99% uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on high-performance systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, with specific knowledge of options pricing, Greeks, and market microstructure.
- Experience with distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and real-time data processing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
