Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software architecture for equity management and options tracking platforms.
- Collaborate closely with financial analysts and product managers to model complex vesting scenarios and option pricing.
- Optimize database performance to handle high-throughput transaction processing securely.
- Implement rigorous security protocols to protect sensitive financial and employee data.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with financial concepts, specifically stock options, equity compensation, or fintech, is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
