Responsibilities
- Design and develop low-latency options trading systems handling 10K+ transactions/sec
- Implement complex financial algorithms for pricing, risk management, and settlement
- Collaborate with quants to model volatility surfaces and option pricing models
- Optimize C++/Java backends for real-time market data processing
- Lead cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS/GCP for high-availability systems
- Mentor junior engineers on financial domain best practices
- Ensure 99.99% system uptime through robust monitoring and failover mechanisms
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in high-frequency trading systems or financial platforms
- Expertise in C++, Java, or Python with multi-threaded architecture design
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Proficiency in Linux, TCP/IP networking, and market data protocols (FIX, OUCH)
- Experience with cloud-native deployments (Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Finance, or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills with financial domain knowledge
