Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our elite trading floor. As a key player in our derivatives team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the low-latency systems that power our Equity Options trading algorithms. This role requires a dedicated professional available for the Night Shift to ensure continuous market coverage and system stability during critical trading hours.

Responsibilities
- Develop & Optimize: Design and implement high-performance C++ and Python codebases for Equity Options pricing and execution engines.
- Night Shift Coverage: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot trading systems during off-hours to ensure zero downtime.
- System Integration: Integrate market data feeds (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and execution venues with our internal order management systems.
- Data Analysis: Analyze trade data and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize throughput.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Quantitative Analysts to refine algorithmic strategies and execution logic.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on low-latency systems or high-frequency trading.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in C++, Python, and experience with multithreading and memory management.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and derivative markets.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM CST).
