Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize low-latency C++ and Python software components for our core Equity Options trading engine.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement and maintain complex options pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulations).
- Ensure system reliability and scalability by implementing robust error handling and failover mechanisms in high-frequency trading environments.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging of financial algorithms to maximize throughput and minimize latency.
- Integrate with external data feeds and broker APIs to ensure real-time market data accuracy for derivative pricing.
- Lead architectural discussions regarding cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) deployment for financial workloads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on low-latency systems or high-frequency trading.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (modern C++11/14/17) and Python.
- Deep understanding of financial derivatives, specifically Equity Options, Swaps, and Exotics.
- Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing for financial analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
