Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-frequency trading algorithms and equity options pricing models using C++ and Python.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and increase throughput for critical trading systems.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers to translate complex mathematical models into production-ready software.
- Implement robust risk management systems to monitor exposure and validate trade validity in real-time.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across distributed trading environments.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for our core infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in the fintech, quantitative trading, or high-frequency trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (modern C++11/14/17) and/or Python.
- Deep understanding of equity options, derivatives, and financial market mechanics (Black-Scholes, volatility surfaces).
- Experience with distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and high-availability architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
