Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software systems using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that delight users.
- Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the application, focusing on database performance and API latency.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering team.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines for rapid delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience in a commercial environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with deep knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and designing fault-tolerant systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
