Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and enforce CI/CD best practices
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct security audits and implement zero-trust protocols
- Collaborate with Product team to define roadmap priorities
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production-grade backend development
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with distributed systems
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to deployment
