Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with AWS and Docker
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Design RESTful APIs with GraphQL integration
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Drive technical debt reduction and refactoring initiatives
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of mentoring developers
