Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead API development and integration with third-party financial systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Optimize system performance using Redis, Kafka, and PostgreSQL
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure security compliance through OWASP best practices and regular audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-availability applications
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with Jira/Confluence
- Financial services industry knowledge preferred
