Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP with Terraform
- Mentor 2-3 engineers through code reviews and architecture sessions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and ArgoCD
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Drive security best practices and compliance initiatives
- Present technical solutions to CTO and stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent with 5+ years backend development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and distributed systems
- Proven AWS/GCP certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database optimization skills
- Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA proficiency
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-level projects
