Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of cloud-native microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce deployment time by 40%
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blog posts
- Conduct quarterly tech talks on emerging cloud technologies
- Implement security best practices across all production systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and containerization technologies (Docker)
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams and code reviews
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design optimization experience
