Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while implementing best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies for 99.99% uptime
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and infrastructure automation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive technical debt reduction initiatives
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative architectural improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Spring ecosystem with cloud-native development
- Expertise in RESTful API design and microservices architecture patterns
- Strong background in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/K8s) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with distributed systems and performance optimization techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
