Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-performance microservices using Java/Python
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for scalability and cost-efficiency
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing processes
- Conduct code audits and ensure adherence to security best practices
- Drive architectural improvements for existing legacy systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and caching strategies
