Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using microservices architecture
- Lead development of high-throughput payment processing systems with 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and database tuning
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements for faster deployment cycles
- Conduct code reviews ensuring maintainability and security best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Research and prototype emerging technologies for product innovation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with strong CS fundamentals
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proven track record of optimizing high-transaction systems
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Strong grasp of security protocols and encryption standards
- Ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
