Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize system performance while ensuring security and compliance standards
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead technical spikes and prototype new features using React and Node.js
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to engineering culture
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of shipping production code in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and event-driven design patterns
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
